After the devastating fires which occurred across our country over the Christmas period our school and parish community responded. The community was able to raise over $20000 to support the communities affect by the fires in the Narooma parish on the south coast of New South Wales.
The local St Vincent de Paul group organised the fundraising, while student were able to give a little more through the cards they wrote to the families and students of the community. Alison Golden (President) said in one way the letters and cards from the kids were “as exciting as the money" because it meant the people of Stafford could be “there" for the people down south.
