Principal's Message

tparsons.jpgWelcome to Queen of Apostles School.

Queen of Apostles is one of Brisbane Catholic Education's primary schools and a part of the Stafford Parish. We are a co-educational primary school (Prep – Year 6) with a current enrolment of 320 students.

Our team is committed to developing an inclusive and culturally responsive environment where everyone is supported, accepted, and empowered to thrive and flourish.

We achieve this through:

  • Building trusting relationships,
  • High expectations of success by focusing on individual strengths,
  • Best practice, whole school programs,
  • Collective teacher efficacy,
  • Students, staff, and community agency,
  • Responsive, engaging, and inclusive learning environments.

Queen of Apostles proudly offers a quality inclusive Catholic Education. As the school has grown and changed, it has continued to build on the traditions established by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. Their spirit of Love, Unity, Hospitality, Faithful Listening and Simplicity is found within the school community and is further strengthened by the parents, staff and children living the school motto of “Growing in Faith and Love".

Our leadership team and educators implement a whole school approach to delivering the Australian Curriculum and the Brisbane Catholic Education Religious Education Curriculum using research and evidence-based strategies, with a sharp focus on developing the whole child. This consistent, yet differentiated approach, fosters continuous growth and achievement for every student, in every classroom, every day - from Prep through to Year Six. Our specialist program includes Physical Education, Music and Japanese.

Queen of Apostles prides itself on the spirit and relationships that can be found in our community. The opportunities that we offer our students are unique, vibrant and engaging.

The Queen of Apostles website offers an insight to our engaging and vibrant community and I thank you visiting.
